I really have no idea what to say. I'm LP or Lauren, I make all the jewelry on this site. I love to travel. I take my camera everywhere. I love hanging out with friends and making a fool out of myself. I love television and watch a lot of shows. I can probably recite half of Scrubs episodes and even more FRIENDS episodes. I love random useless trivia.

Now on the art side. I have taken art classes throughout my education. I started dancing when I was 5. At age 7 my mom bought me my first camera and at 8 I began taking jewelry classes at a local bead shop, Beads to the Knees. I have always loved art. From the simple black and whites of Ansel Adams to the abstract art of Kandinsky. I started writing poetry when I was 14. When I went to college I packed up all my beads and continued creating pieces while I was there. In December of 2007 I graduated with a Bachelors in Sociology. In Decemeber of 2007 I opened up an ETSY shop. But in June of 2008 I wanted to have my own site and try to start my own business, and so simplylp was born.
